Does Any Of This Sound Familiar?

-
You compare yourself to other gay men.
-
You avoid photos, dating apps, beaches, or social events when you don't feel confident.
-
You believe you'll finally feel better once you lose weight, gain muscle, or look more attractive.
-
Rejection feels devastating.
-
No matter how much progress you make, it never seems like enough.
This Isn't a Body Positivity Workshop

You've probably heard people say: "Just love yourself." "Stop caring what people think." "Looks don't matter." That's not what this workshop is about. We all know appearance matters in gay culture. The question is: Why does it matter so much?
Together, we'll explore the deeper psychological forces that often shape our relationship with appearance, attraction, validation, and self-worth. Not to judge them. Not to eliminate them. But to understand them.
Appearance Matters. Now What?
How Do You Know When It's Too Much?
Going to the gym isn't the problem. Wanting to look attractive isn't the problem. Taking pride in your appearance isn't the problem.
But if your mood, confidence, relationships, or sense of self-worth rise and fall with what you see in the mirror, it may be worth taking a closer look. Together, we'll explore where the line is between healthy self-improvement and a pursuit that quietly begins to take more than it gives.
