start therapy or coaching for gay men
Therapy for gay men ready for clarity, depth, and real change.
Who This Is For
Who I Work Best With
-
Thoughtful, self-aware men
-
Those navigating relationship shifts (monogamy, open dynamics)
-
Men questioning patterns around sex or attachment
-
High-functioning professionals who feel privately unsettled
-
Those ready for direct, honest work

But . . . this may not be the right fit if you’re looking for quick reassurance or surface-level conversation. A consult call will help us determine if working together makes sense.

Why Many Gay Men Reach Out to Me
Many of the clients who reach out to me say something similar:
They’ve already tried figuring things out on their own.
They’ve read books, watched videos, talked with friends, maybe even tried therapy before — but something still feels stuck.

What they’re often looking for is:
• A therapist who actually understands gay men’s experiences and culture
• Someone who can talk openly about sex, dating, and relationships without awkwardness or judgment
• A practical, direct perspective — not just endless processing
• A space where they can be fully honest about what’s really going on

While there’s no single “right” style of therapy, it helps to understand what a therapist values and how they think about growth. In the short video, I share a few perspectives that guide my work with clients and the kinds of conversations we tend to have in therapy.
Not Sure What To Expect?
If you’ve never done therapy before, the first session is simply a conversation to understand what’s going on and whether working together feels like a good fit.

What Happens Next
After you reach out, we’ll schedule a brief consultation call.
During that time, we can:

• Talk about what’s bringing you in
• Discuss what you’re looking for
• Explore whether working together feels like a fit

There’s no pressure to move forward after the consultation.
Sessions take place in a private West Hollywood Office

Frequently Asked Questions:
How soon can I start?
I try to offer new clients a consultation within a week. You can schedule a free 15-minute intro call through my website — and if we decide to move forward, I’ll do my best to get you started quickly.
What can I expect in the first session?
Our first full session is about getting to know you—your background, goals, and what’s bringing you to therapy now. I’ll ask thoughtful questions and begin to map out a plan with you. You don’t need to prepare anything—just come as you are.
I’m nervous about starting therapy. Is that normal?
Absolutely. Most people feel some hesitation at first — it’s a big step. Whether it’s your first time or you’re returning to therapy, we’ll go at your pace. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin; just showing up is enough. If you're looking for a gay therapist in Los Angeles, you can learn more here.
What if I don’t know how to put my feelings into words?
That’s completely okay — a lot of people struggle with that at first. You don’t need the “right” language to begin. Together, we’ll slow things down, make space for whatever is there, and find words as we go.
What if I already “know” what’s wrong with me — I just can’t change it?
Insight is a powerful starting point, but it’s not the whole picture. Therapy helps bridge the gap between knowing and doing. Together, we’ll explore what keeps you stuck and find new, more sustainable ways to move forward.

What are common issues you deal with?

-

Do you offer therapy for gay men in Los Angeles?
Yes. I provide in-person therapy in West Hollywood and online therapy throughout California and Florida. Coaching is available internationally.

What’s the difference between therapy and coaching?
-
Therapy focuses on understanding patterns, healing past wounds, and working through emotional challenges. Therapy is a licensed service available to clients located in California or Florida.
-
Coaching focuses more on creating change in the present—especially around dating, relationships, and confidence. Coaching is not therapy and is available to clients worldwide.
If you're not sure which option is right for you, we can figure that out together.

You're Allowed To be Hesitant
You don’t need to be certain that therapy is the answer. You just need to be curious enough to explore. The consultation is simply a conversation.
You’re welcome to reach out with a brief message — even if you’re unsure what you’d want from therapy.
Tour My Office
A brief look inside the West Hollywood office where in-person therapy sessions take place (1 minute).
If you're considering in-person sessions, it can help to know what the space feels like ahead of time.

This short video offers a brief look at the office so you have a sense of what to expect before your first visit.

For many people, seeing the environment in advance makes the process of reaching out feel a little more familiar — and a little less uncertain.
