Group Therapy

Group therapy fosters strong connections by providing a supportive space for 4-8 participants to meet weekly. Over time, members develop trust and meaningful relationships while processing personal challenges and gaining insights from others’ experiences. This environment encourages reflection on interpersonal dynamics, promoting growth and deeper understanding of oneself and others.

GAY MEN'S TRAUMA RECOVERY GROUP

MONDAYS 7-8:30PM
$80/WEEK
WEST HOLLYWOOD, CA
IN PERSON

This group will provide a safe space for gay men to heal from trauma. Unfortunately, gay men are more likely to experience trauma than straight men. And, it's often difficult for gay men to find a space to begin to unpack their traumatic experiences. That's what you'll experience in this group: a safe environment to recover from trauma. In fact, many folks find that the healing process is quicker in a group setting, rather than traditional individual therapy.

You don't have to do this alone.

I have years of specialized experience treating substance use in private practice, intensive outpatient and residential levels of care. I can help you understand what's driving the urge to self-medicate.  I work with clients using both harm reduction and abstinence based recovery models. I can also connect you with the resources you will need to beat this.

You should be proud of yourself for seeking help. It takes courage to face life on life’s terms--without the numbing effects of drugs and alcohol.
