  • Insurance? I’m an out of network provider. What does this mean? It means I’m not in-network with any insurance plan. But, many clients are able to receive reimbursements using their out of network benefits. More information on that here.​

What happens after I book a therapy session?
Once you book a free consultation call, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details you need. This email will include the Zoom link and password for our video call. If anything changes or you have questions before we meet, you're welcome to reach out.

 

Can I reschedule or cancel my session?
Absolutely. You can reschedule or cancel your session directly through my website—it's quick and easy. If you prefer, you can also contact me directly, and I’ll be happy to help you find another time that works for you.

What should I prepare before the session?
The short answer: nothing. You don’t need to prepare anything in advance. My job is to guide the conversation by asking thoughtful questions to help us uncover what’s important. That said, if you do feel like reflecting beforehand, you might consider what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, what challenges you’re currently facing, or what goals you’d like to work toward.

Is everything we discuss confidential?
Yes—confidentiality is a foundational part of the therapeutic relationship. Everything we talk about stays between us. The only exceptions are in rare cases where I’m legally required to report something (for example, if there’s a serious risk of harm to yourself or someone else). I’ll go over these limits in more detail if we decide to work together, so you know exactly what to expect.

What if I’m nervous or unsure about starting therapy?
That’s completely normal—and actually, it’s a sign that this matters to you. Many people feel uncertain or anxious when beginning therapy. It means you care about your growth and well-being. Our first call is a space for us to get to know each other, and you’re welcome to bring any questions, hesitations, or concerns into the conversation.
