public speaking
I am available for public speaking engagements, offering insights on LGBTQ+ identity, addiction, chem-sex, trauma treatment, and high-conflict divorce. With years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a dynamic and knowledgeable approach to each event, whether as a keynote speaker, panelist, or workshop leader.
Get To Know Michael
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #120508
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Media and Communication from New York University. In my West Hollywood private practice, I focus extensively on serving the LGBTQIA+ community, with significant expertise in treating substance use disorders, particularly “chem-sex.” I also have experience in facilitating LGBTQ+ identity groups, such as the one I established for Impulse United, a global HIV advocacy nonprofit.
As a trauma therapist, I use modalities like EMDR, KAP, and IFS to treat both single-incident and complex traumas. My practice also supports individuals navigating high-conflict divorces, including those involving legal disputes and narcissistic abuse, as well as children and adolescents dealing with high-tension parental relationships. Originally from Hell’s Kitchen in New York City, I now reside in West Hollywood with my husband and our two dogs, staying actively involved in the local queer recovery community and enjoying my passion for plant cultivation.
